All of my Clàrsachs have brass string shoes, tapered through tuning pins and are supplied with a tuning key, string gauge chart and spare lengths of wire. All are built using mortice & tenon joints and follow traditional build methods. I am very flexible concerning build options. For example any instrument can be supplied with the brass tuner bands and carving, anything is possible! I can provide display stands and fitted padded carry cases can be supplied by Meg Rosher of Dunvegan. The wood used for hollowing out the sound boxes is green and will require a little time to settle.

22 string - Seiriol

Small 22 string Clàrsach styled on the larger Mona/Moina. The dark finish is achieved using peat but is also available in a natural finish. The sound box is hollowed from a single piece of wood. The sound box depth and width dimensions are equal in size to my larger instruments, this helps to achieve a good volume from a smaller instrument. A fantastic travel harp!

22 string - Student Seiriol

The student version of Seiriol has a re styled sound box which makes it a little easier in transit than the already versatile standard Seiriol. Shaping of the neck to a point has been removed. An altogether simpler instrument but without any compromise in the tonal qualities of a larger instrument. The sound box is hollowed from a single piece of wood.

30 String - Scathach

Scathach asked the loan of a harp, and it was brought to her. One string it had of iron, and one of bronze, and one of silver. Scathach has recently been updated with a new soundbox. The soundbox style now shares many similarites to that of the 'The Downhill Harp'. A large elegant instrument. A substantial instrument in voice. Gealach has been inspired by my surroundings - The jagged Cuillin Mountains with their animated ridges. 29 string - Gealachtorc

Gealachtorc is quite a sight to behold! The neck appears to be coming from the mouth of a wild boar. Real boars tusks have been used but I should stress that NO animal was culled for these tusks. A local farmer farms wild boar and I was fortunate to aquire some of his tusks.
